"Over the head" or traditional 'H' shaped dog harness has been around for decades. It is the perfect shape to avoid muscle and skeletal problems in harness wearing dogs. An H-harness keeps your dog's shoulders and front legs free from restriction, ensuring a natural and free range of movement for their muscles and joints.
The H style harness slips over their head and secures around the chest and waist.
Measure the girth of your dog (around the body) right behind the forearms:
XS: 12-16 inches (30-40cm)
Small: 15-21 inches (38-53cm)
Med: 19-26 inches (48-66cm)
Large: 25-34 inches (64-86cm)
- 100 percent Hemp webbing
- Organic hemp fiber is completely biodegradable and can be composted
Benefits: Offers strong control and support, especially for training, newly rescued pups, and dogs that like to "back out" of their harnesses. The H harness offers more resistance for "Houdini" artists. A drawback to the H style harness is it is not suitable for head shy dogs.
